TRANSFORMING LIVES AND COMMUNITIES
THROUGH THE AWESOME POWER OF STREET FOOD

London Union was founded by LEON’s Henry Dimbleby and Street Feast’s Jonathan Downey – food and drink entrepreneurs on a mission to transform London’s food landscape.

We take unused and derelict spaces and transform them into buzzing day and night street food markets, giving talented, new food entrepreneurs the opportunity to start and develop their businesses without requiring large amounts of capital.

Our founder investors include many of the top names in British food and drink – including Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson, Yotam Ottolenghi, Giles Coren, Heston Blumenthal and Nick Jones.

With over two million visitors each year, our markets range from local community hubs full of families and locals, to top destination venues in prime central locations.  What all of our venues have in common is great food and drink with unrivalled vibes.

Over the next five years we will open new iconic markets in London and across the UK, as well as one central, flagship market in the heart of London.

OUR TRADERS

We support over 40 small businesses — our traders. They are the most important part of what we do, bringing world-class food to our venues and creating the theatre that makes our markets and events so special.

We help our traders with every part of their business including marketing and PR support, advice on their branding, help with processes, recipes and profitability, as well as regular trader workshops and one-on-one meetings with industry experts. Our traders also learn from each other – benefitting from working in close proximity to other small businesses at a similar stage of development.

Our traders directly employ over 200 people – many of them young local people in the early stages of a career in food and hospitality.
